CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

You are invited to submit a presentation proposal for the 14th Annual Stormwater Conference to be held June 24-29, 2012, in Fort Worth, Texas. By participating as a presenter, you can help us achieve our goal of providing an exceptional conference that informs and educates stormwater professionals about state and federal regulations aimed at reducing the sources of stormwater pollution discharged into surface waters from storm sewer systems.

Presentation should support one or more of the following conference topics:

1. LID/ Sustainable Development/Green Infrastructure
2. Watershed Management
3. Sampling and Monitoring for Construction Effluent Limit Guidance
4. Industrial Stormwater Management
5. BMP Technology (include information/data on effectiveness of BMP and evaluation measures)
6. Public Education and Outreach
7. Enforcement and Legal

Proposal Criteria

Presentations are selected based on the following criteria:

• Thoroughness of the subject matter and proposal
• Originality of materials
• Quality of learning objectives
• Level of content and method of diverse teaching styles
• Quality of takeaway tools offered to all conference registrants
• Appeal to a diverse and broad spectrum of attendees

Presentations should not exceed 50 minutes (including time for introductions and evaluations). If your presentation exceeds one hour, please note this time on your proposal.

Only educational content should be submitted for consideration. No abstracts will be accepted if they include marketing material or content.

This is a green conference, so lengthy handouts are discouraged. Presenters are encouraged to provide electronic copies of their presentation materials in advance so that these materials can be posted on the conference website and downloaded by those registering for the conference.
